Reading Connection for Children considers the public benefit of its intervention in line with the mission and objectives of the organization, planning activities that will contribute to the aims and objectives as set. Our partnerships and programs support schools in the most marginalized communities.
We focus on areas where our work can have greatest impact and for those most in need, particularly marginalized communities and impoverished rural and urban communities.
We support underfunded schools, both in urban and rural contexts, improving the quality and reach of education for communities most in need.
Advancing education improves knowledge and skills, resulting in improved confidence, employment opportunities and well-being on an individual, family and community level impacting positively on socio-economic development on a wider level. 

We are working on a plan for more library recipients.  

Currently scheduling book drives and seeking support  to praise  the $10,000 that will be needed to cover the fees associated with collecting and transporting cargo containers of books across Kenya.  We could really use your help:

• ·Make a one-time donation.
• ·Make a 12-month reoccurring donation to cover the full cost of a library.

After nearly 2 years of planning and coordination with our partners in Kenya and the USA, libraries have been created to schools in different counties in Kenya.. 

Prior to the delivery of these books, none of the schools had a any library and it was a tremendous amount of fun to watch as the boxes of books were opened and the excitement in children's eyes as they read the books.  We want to thank everyone who  donated books and funds – your work and contribution is making a big difference!

 We continue to seek support with book drives and fundraisers to ship containers of more than 50,000 books  to Kenya. The libraries will be delivered to various schools in different counties. 

We have also observed that many of the children lack the necessary resources and tools to support them in their learning. 

We are planning on a fund drive next year for these necessary resources and tools- notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, backpacks.
